Na, már itt is vagyok az élménybeszámolóm 2. részével! Szóval kiderült, hogy csúszik az egész fotózás egy órát... Nem voltam valami boldog, mert márt így is fájt a lábam (hello, szép lábbeli) és a derekam is kivolt az egésznapos non-stop meneteléstől. (ha több lehetőség, vagy legalább minőségibb lett volna a pihenésre szánt hely, akkor valószínűleg nem panaszkodnék, meg minden bizonnyal korral is jár :D Bár ez nálam nem korfüggő, fiatalabban is fájt a lábam, ha nem volt egésznap pihenő. Szóval, mint azt az előző bejegyzésemben írtam, annak ellenére, hogy már reggel igényeltem VQ-t (virtual queue) már csak a 201. helyre volt elég. /

Well, I'm here with the 2nd part of my experience report! So it turned out that the whole photo shoot was delayed by an hour... I wasn't happy because my feet were already hurting (hello, nice footwear) and my waist was out of shape from the non-stop marching all day. (if there were more options, or at least a better place for rest, I probably wouldn't complain, and it certainly comes with age :D Although it's not age-related for me, my legs hurt even when I was younger, if I didn't have a full day of rest. So, as I wrote in my previous post, even though I applied for a VQ (virtual queue) in the morning, it was only enough for the 201st place. 

A fotózás tehát 16:00-kor vette kezdetét, én meg néha zaklattam az egyik segítőt a kérdéseimmel (mint például, hogy fog lezajlani az egész? - Odaadod a telefonod egy segítőnek, beülsz Cassie mellé a könyves állvány mögé, váltotok pár szót, pár katt fotó, még pár szó és megkapod a telefonod és egy harmadik segítő kiosztja a book plate-et)/

So the photo shoot started at 4:00 p.m., and while I was waiting, I asked some questions from one of the assistants (like, for example, how will it all go? - answer: You give your phone to an assistant, sit next to Cassie behind the book stand, exchange a few words, click the photo, a few more words and you will receive your phone and a third helper will hand out the bookplate)

Igazából szépen haladtak előre az emberek a sorban, szóval 16:55-kor már az én számom is sorrakerült. (de ez még csak a sorba beállást jelentette. Addig csak mellette várakoztam.)  Amíg a sorban várakoztam, addig megfigyeltem azt a sok rajongót, aki mind Cassie miatt vállalta, hogy órákat várjon a nagy találkozásra. Volt olyan, aki jade nyakláncot viselt, volt, aki Izzy nyakláncát, és sokan rúnákkal rajzolták tele a bőrüket. Néhányan bíztattuk a másikat, hogy mindjárt a másik is sorra fog kerülni :) Ami még sok embernek volt, az a vászontáska, mindenféle frappáns szöveggel. Mint például "Ha azt látod, hogy nyitva van a könyvem, akkor a szádnak csukva kellene lennie." vagy valami hasonló. XD Láttam még egy SJM táskát is, Crescent Citys volt mint amilyen nekem is van. Aztán 17:55-körül én is eljutottam Cassie-hez. :) Rögtön előtte ez a tábla várt:/

In fact, the people in the queue moved forward nicely, so at 16:55 my number was already in line. (but that only meant standing in line. Until then, I just waited next to her.) While I was waiting in line, I observed the many fans who agreed to wait hours for the big meeting, all because of Cassie. Some wore jade necklaces, some wore Izzy's necklace, and many had their skin covered in runes. Some of us assured the other that it would be the other's turn soon :) What many people still had was the canvas bag with all kinds of striking texts. Like " If you see my book open, you should keep your mouth shut. " or something like that. XD I also saw an SJM bag, it was printed on a Crescent City the exact one that I have. Then around 17:55 I also reached Cassie. :) Right in front of him was this sign:

Azt írta, hogy nem lesz dedikálás, viszont helyette mindenki kap egy aláírt bookplate-et a közös fotózást követően. Ha valaki nem él a közös fotózás lehetőségével, az simán kérheti csak az aláírást. :D (persze, ha valaki csak ezért utazik Londonba, vagy tölt el egy egész napot arra várva, hogy találkozzanak, akkor nem igazán tudom elképzelni, hogy akadt olyan, aki csak a bookplate-et kérte volna...)/

It says that there will be no signing, but instead everyone will receive a signed bookplate after the joint photo shoot. If someone does not take advantage of the opportunity to take a photo with her, they can simply ask for a bookplate. :D (of course, if someone travels to London just for this event, or spends a whole day waiting to meet her, then I can't really imagine that there was someone who only asked for the bookplate...)

No és akkor jöjjön a várva várt pillanat! Végre én kerültem sorra! Már előre elterveztem, hogy nagyjából mit fogok neki mondani. A fotó viszont nem sikerült a legjobban, mert

1. Senki nem mondta, hogy lenne előnyösebb/célszerűbb elhelyezkedni, így úgy néz ki, mintha elakartam volna bújni... (egy profi fotós azért legalább szólt volna) viszont azt értékelem, hogy készített párat :)

2. a saját telefonoddal készítette a rendezvény egyik segítője (ez már csak azért is problémás, mert mi van akkor, ha valaki nem rendelkezik okos telefonnal? Oké, tudom, hogy ennek kicsi az esélye, de nem lehetetlen! Aztán mi történt akkor, ha valaki például lemerítette estére? Mert feltételezem, hogy volt megörökíteni való bőven. No, de ezektől eltekintve nagyon boldog voltam, hogy esélyem volt személyesen találkozni vele, mert már évek óta ez volt az álmom, csak valami mindig közbejött.../

And then the long-awaited moment will come! Finally, it was my turn! I had already planned what I was going to say to her. The photo, however, did not turn out the best, because

1. No one said that it would be more beneficial/expedient to pose, so it looks like I wanted to hide... (at least a professional photographer would have told me) but I appreciate that the helper took a couple :)

2. it was made with your own phone by one of the helpers of the event (this is only problematic because what if someone does not have a smartphone? Okay, I know that the chances of this are small, but not impossible! Then what happened if, for example, someone's phone's battery died?  take it down for the evening? Because I assume there was plenty to capture. Well, other than that, I was very happy to have the chance to meet Cassie in person, because it had been my dream for years, but something always got in the way...

Elmondtam neki, hogy mennyire nagyon szeretem a könyveit, és hogy minden egyes rész megvan magyarul és angolul is! Nagyon örült neki, mikor említettem, hogy magyar vagyok, mondta, hogy talán egyszer Magyarországon is találkozhatunk! (OMG de szuper lenne!) Nagyon kedves volt és közvetlen, abszolút pozitív csalódás volt! Mondtam neki, hogy nagyon örülök, hogy végre személyesen is találkozhatunk! ^_^ Szép estét kívántam, átvettem a bookplate-emet, és irány a panel, vadászni egy ülőhelyet. /

I told her how much I love her books and that I have every single book from her in both Hungarian and English editions! She was very happy when I mentioned that I was Hungarian, she said that maybe we could meet in Hungary one day! (OMG but that would be great!) She was very nice and direct, it was an absolutely amazing meeting! ^_^ I told Cassie that I was very happy that we could finally meet in person! ^_^ I wished her a nice evening, took my bookplate, and headed to the panel event to hunt a seat to myself. 

Mázlim volt, mert a negyedik sorban bal szélen volt egy üres hely! Gyorsan megettem a még meglévő szendvicsemet, és megittam a vizemet, mert már kimerültek a tartalékaim a hosszú sorbanállás közepette. Amúgy utánam még körülbelül 100 ember várt a sorban... De remek volt a csapatmunka, így mindössze 15 perces késéssel indult a panelbeszélgetés Samantha Shannon írónővel. A végén a jelenlévők kérdezhettek az írónőtől. Alább leírom nagyjából, (nem feltétlen sorrendben) amiket Samantha és amit a rajongók kérdeztek. /

I was lucky because there was an empty seat on the far left in the fourth row! I quickly ate the sandwich I still had and drank my water because I had already exhausted my reserves in the middle of the long line. Anyway, there were about 100 people waiting in line after me... But the teamwork was great, so the panel discussion with the writer Samantha Shannon started only 15 minutes late. In the end, those who were present could ask the writer questions. Below I describe roughly (in no particular order) what Samantha and the fans asked.

• A bevezető téma az volt, hogy hogyan indult az írói pályája, mesélt a kezdetekről, és annak nehézségeiről is. Hogy mindig is szeretett írni, és a barátainak írt leginkább (pont mint Lucie) És hogy milyen rossz volt az, amit írt. Jaj, imádtam a humorát! :) De nyilván sok-sok írással, gyakorlással előbb-utóbb el lehet érni a célodat, ha elég kitartó vagy. /

• The introductory topic was how her career as a writer began, she told about the beginnings and its difficulties. That she always liked to write and wrote mostly to her friends (just like Lucie) And how bad what she wrote was. Oh, I loved her humor! :) But of course, with a lot of writing and practice, sooner or later you can reach your goal if you are persistent enough. 

• Azt kérdezte még Samantha, hogy mennyit változott a Csontváros az első leadott változat óta. Igazából nem sokat. /
• Samantha also asked how much the City of Bones had changed since the first version. Not much actually. 

• Kérdezte még, hogy mennyi időbe telik egy karaktert elnevezni. Erre azt mondta, hogy van, akinek a neve egyből megvan, de olyan is akadt, akinek időbe telik, mire lesz neve. Passzolnia kell a karakternek az adott névhez. Tessa például már a kezdetek óta Tessaként volt meg neki, de Jace Willként volt meg eleinte a fejében. Jem nevét egy barátja javasolta neki, amikor Cassie Londonban tartózkodott. /
• She also asked how long it takes to name a character. To this, she said that there are those who have their names right away, but there are also those who take time to get a name. The character must match the given name. For example, she had Tessa as Tessa from the beginning, but Jace was in her head as Will at first. Jem's name was suggested to her by a friend when Cassie was in London. 

• Szó volt arról is, hogy egy ekkora terjedelmű sorozat esetében hogyan tartja számon a fontosabb dolgokat, történéseket. Pl. egy adott karakternek mondjuk van egy sebhely a bal arcán, akkor az máskor is ugyanott legyen, és ne vándoroljon el sehova... Vagy kinézetek, szemszínek stb. Van egy külön kis "bibliája", és ott tart számon benne minden ilyen fontos dolgot, és ott megvan benne minden. Persze, előfordul, hogy inkább újraolvassa az adott könyvét. /
• There was also talk about how, in the case of a series of this size, she keeps track of the most important things and events. For example, if a certain character has a scar on his left cheek, then it should be in the same place at other times and not migrate anywhere... Or looks, eye colors, etc. She has a separate little "bible" and keeps track of all such important things in it, and it has everything there. Of course, there are times when she prefers to re-read that particular book. 

• Kivesézték még a kutatást is, hogy néha nehéz a történelmi részhez visszamenni. Például az 1900-as években teljesen máshogyan néztek ki az utcák, volt, hogy az adott jelentben egyes dolgok még nem léteztek. Vagy a mikor egy szereplő autót vezet, (COI, Matthew) hogy nézett ki az az autó, mennyivel mehetett. Szóval mind-mind időigényes kutatást igényes, fel kell lapozni régi térképeket az arhívumban, alaposan utánajárni dolgoknak. Mert bár ha csak egy mondat is van róla, és ha nem hiteles, akkor LESZ olyan, aki ezt kiszúrja. (ennél nevettek).
• Cassie szerkesztője nem rajong a költészetért, és nem volt boldog, amikor Cassie bemutatta a költészetet a The Infernal Devices-ben. /
• They even pointed out the research that sometimes it is difficult to go back to the historical part. For example, in the 1900s, the streets looked completely different, and some things did not yet exist in the present. Or when a character is driving a car, (COI, Matthew) how that car looked, how fast it could go. So everything requires time-consuming research, you have to flip through old maps in the archive, and research things thoroughly. Because even if there is only one sentence about it, and if it is not authentic, there WILL be someone who will spot it. (they laughed at this).
• Cassie's editor is not a fan of poetry and was not happy when Cassie introduced poetry in The Infernal Devices. 

• Gyerekkorában szerette kijegyzetelgetni a kedvenc idézeteit, verseket.
• Olaszországban volt, amikor a táj megihlette és ott álmodta meg Idrist. Az olasz város neve a  San Gimignano volt, a magasba nyúló tornyai miatt figyelt fel rájuk és ezek lettek a démontornyok megihletői Idrisben./
• As a child, she liked to write down her favorite quotes and poems.
• She was in Italy when he was inspired by the landscape and dreamed of Idris there. The name of the Italian city was   San Gimignano, it drew attention to them because of its towering towers, and these became the inspiration for the demon towers in Idris.

• Már 10 éve a fejében volt Cordelia története, de akkor mást írt.
• Mindig szórakoztatóbb egy másik regény írásának a gondolatával játszani, mint az, amin éppen dolgozik. Most a Sword Catchert írja, és a TWP jár a fejében./
• She had already had Cordelia's story in his head for 10 years, but then she wrote something else. It's always more fun to play with the idea of ​​writing another novel than the one you're working on. Now she's writing Sword Catcher and TWP is on her mind.

• Lucie karaktere hasonlít az ő fiatalkori énjére, ezért az ő karakterét szereti írni.
• Cordelia és Matthew a kedvencei közé tartozik.

• Kihívás a sokszemszög! Bizonyos karakternek okkal nem adott szemszöget, mert így érdekesebbé tette őt. Meg majd máshol/máskor lesz fontosabb szerepe. Holly Blackkel folyton vitáznak is emiatt. Míg Holly csak egyszemszögből ír, és így rövidebb a könyve, addig Cassie olyan sok szemszögből, hogy nehéz lépést tartani, ráadásul a könyv is nagyobb terjedelmű!/
• Lucie's character is similar to her younger self, so she likes to write her character.
• Cordelia and Matthew are among her favorites.
• There are characters who are not easy to "love" or write about. For example Anna's, because she is very confident, but according to Cassie, she herself is not :D Or there is Alastair. For example, he is an angry character, full of anger and negative emotions. It was more difficult to go on with him. 
• Challenge the many perspectives! She didn't give a certain character a point of view for a reason, because it made him/her more interesting. He/she will have a more important role elsewhere/at another time. They are constantly arguing with Holly Black about this. While Holly only writes from one point of view and thus her book is shorter, Cassie has so many points of view that it's hard to keep up, and the book is also longer!

• Ebből kifolyólag a Sword Catcher csak 2 szemszögből fog íródni és több mint 270 ezer szót tartalmaz!/

• Kihívás a történet szempontjából: az, hogy az ismertebb árnyvadász családok mind kedvesek, és őket nem állíthatta be gonosznak/bunkónak... Ezért kapóra jött Cordelia családja. (Lásd Eliast a COG/COI-ban)/
• Also challenging from the point of view of the story: is the fact that the more well-known shadow hunter families are all kind, and you couldn't set them up as evil/jerks... That's why Cordelia's family came to the fore. (See Elias in COG/COI)

• A harcos jelenetek olyanok, mint az intim jelenetek: Melyik kéz hol van, mit csinál, és hány keze is van valójában? :D Szóval szintén kihívás. /
• Fight scenes are like intimate scenes: Which hand is where, what is it doing, and how many hands do you really have? :D So it's also a challenge. 

• Kicsit beszélt a Sword Catcher könyvről, a 2 főszereplőről. Izgalmasnak ígérkezik! Az a jó, hogy ez nem YA, hanem NA kategóriába tartozik majd. Bővebben is volt róla szó, de csak elvétve írtam vázlatot, mert szerettem volna megélni, hogy OTT VAGYOK, nem csak írással tölteni az egészet. UPDATE: Castellane ennek az új világnak az epicentruma, és egy kikötőben található. Ez egy rendkívül gazdag város, amely más országokkal kereskedik, és kultúrája nagyon változatos. A főszereplők Lin és Kellian. Lin orvos, és a zsidó mitológián alapul, mivel a történelem során a zsidók gyakran orvosok voltak. Kellian a koronaherceg testőre, és az események miatt is úgy tesz, mintha ő lenne a koronaherceg. Arra való, hogy meghaljon/kardot fogjon a hercegért. Lint a palotába hívják, mert a Kardfogó haldoklik. Meg kell mentenie, különben ő is meghal. Így találkozik ő és Kellian./
• She talked a little about the Sword Catcher book, and about the 2 main characters. It promises to be exciting! The good thing is that this will not be in the YA category but in the NA category. It was discussed in more detail, but I only sketched a little, because I wanted to experience BEING THERE, not just spend it all writing. UPDATE:  Castellane is the epicenter of this new world and is located in a port. It is an extremely rich city that trades with other countries and has a very diverse culture. The main characters are Lin and Kellian. Lin is a doctor and is based on Jewish mythology, as throughout history Jews have often been doctors. Kellian is the crown prince's bodyguard and pretends to be the crown prince because of the events. He is meant to die/take the sword for the prince. Lin is called to the palace because the Swordsman is dying. You have to save him or he will die too. That's how he and Kellian meet.

• A jelenlévő rajongók nagyon érdeklődtek a The Wicked Powers iránt, kértek pár infót Cassie-től :) Annyit elárult, hogy Kit, Ty, Dru és Ash lesz a központi szerepben! ❤ Nagyon shippelték Ty-t és Kitet ^_^ Oh my, és Dru elmegy Tündérföldére!!! Ty Kit segítségét kéri, miután valami nagyon meghatározó és rossz dolog történt. Kit az egyetlen, aki segíthet. Így találkoznak majd ismét. 
• Rajongói kérdésekre válaszok: Cassie tudatosan írt, és  világossá akarta tenni Ty autizmusát, ahelyett, hogy évekkel később véletlenül felfedné. Christoper valószínűleg ADHD-s.
• A TWP után lesz egy újabb short story-kat tartalmazó sorozat, olyan, mint amilyen a Bane Krónikák is volt. A főszereplő kilétét egyelőre még nem fogja felfedni, mert az elspoilerezné a dolgokat. /
• The fans present were very interested in The Wicked Powers, they asked Cassie for some information :) She revealed that Kit, Ty, Dru, and Ash will be in the central role! ❤ They really shipped Ty and Kit ^_^ Oh my, and Dru is going to Fairyland!!! Ty enlists Kit's help after something very defining and bad happens. Kit is the only one who can help. This is how they will meet again. 
• Fan Q&A: Cassie consciously wrote to make Ty's autism clear, rather than accidentally revealing it years later. Christopher probably has ADHD.
• After TWP, there will be another series of short stories, like the Bane Chronicles. She will not reveal the identity of the main character just yet, because that would spoil things. 

19:15-kor már kint is voltunk az épület előtt, és ki-ki hazafelé vette az irányt. Én persze a nagy tömegben rossz irányba indultam el... 😂 Ami aztán ahhoz vezetett, hogy este 21:41-kor értem haza. Mert pont az a busz nem indult vagy 20 percig, ami nekem kellett, és persze, hogy egyszer akartam korábban leszállni, hogy eggyel hamarabb használjam a metrót, ami meg PONT nem indult vagy bő 15 percig, és mire indultunk, már egy nagy tömeg jött össze... De azt mondom, nagyon megérte ellátogatni a YALC-ra. Több dolgot is megnéztem, mint amit terveztem, és legalább tudom milyen érzés YALCOLNI. :D

At 19:15 we were already outside the building, and everyone headed home. Of course, I went in the wrong direction in the large crowd... 😂 Which then led to me arriving home at 9:41 pm. Because the exact bus that I needed didn't come for 20 minutes or so, and of course, I wanted to get off earlier to use the subway a bit sooner, which didn't arrive for EXACTLY 15 minutes or so, and by the time we left, a large crowd had already arrived together... But I say it was well worth visiting YALC. I watched more things than I planned, and at least I know what it feels like to be a YALCER. :D
