Imádtam! Eddig nem nagyon olvastam még időutazós történetet, meg nem is igazán az én műfajom, de ez a történet levett a lábamról! No meg a boritója is *.*
A könyvet Ash és Dorothy, valamint a professzor szemszögén keresztül olvashatjuk.
Dorothy egy vagány lány, simán felméreszkedett Ash időgépére, mondjuk azt nem tudhatta, hogy nem egy szokványos járműről van szó… de annál bármi jobb, mint kényszerből férjhez menni De hamar rájon, hogy az ő által ismert 1913-as Seattle már szó szerint a múlté, mert 2077-ben landoltak, New Seattle-ben. Itt azonban földrengések sorozata pusztította el sokak szerettét. Többek között a prof feleségét is. Ám hiába próbál újra és újra visszamenni az időben, nem sikerül neki megmenteni őt.
Ash a prof egyik jobbkeze, ot az 1940-es évekből hozta át. Egy nap a profnak nyoma vész, így a fiú küldetése, hogy megkeresse őt. Ekkor botlik bele az esküvőjéről elszökött lányba.
Ash-t egy preemlék vagy mi nyomasztja, ugyanis látja a saját halálát és érzi is...
A fiú mellett van még Zora, a prof lánya, Chandra, valamint Willis is. ★☆
Fő „ellenségük” az egykori csapattársuk, Roman, aki szintén a prof tanítványa volt korábban. A fiú okosan mozgatja a szálakat, Dorothy-t magát is belevonva.
Roman mellett ott van még Quinn Fox is, akiről mindenféle rémes mendemondák keringenek… És ő van Ash látomásában is...de vajon hogy került oda?

S P O I L E R E S tartalom!
2020. november:
Nem csalódtam a második részben sem, még mindig nagyon letudott kötni a történet. Dorothy-nak nyoma veszett az előző részben, és épp hogy csak megúszta élve. Roman karolja fel őt, akinek már Quinn Fox-ként mutatkozik be. Sebhelye miatt állandóan kapucnis pulcsiban jár, kerülni igyekszik a kíváncsi tekinteteket.
Roman rásegít Quinnt hirhedtté tenni, mindenféle rémségeket terjeszt róla, hogy veszélyes, meg hogy kannibál. :D Együtt irányításuk alá veszik a Freak Cirkust. Ám sikerük nem marad töretlen, mert egy minden hájjal megkent gazfickó, Mac az időgépükre és az időutazásra akar szert tenni… Amúgy itt jobban sikerült Romant megismerni, és hogy mit miért tett az előző könyvben.
Közben olvashattunk pár naplóbejegyzést a professzortól, és kiderül, hogy tulajdonképp az időutazás okozta a földrengéseket a jövőben! :-O
Ash egyre közelebb kerül a pre-emlékének az eljöveteléhez… Zoráék aggódnak érte, ám nem tudnak mit tenni, hogy megakadályozzák az elkerülhetetlent..
A végén túl kevés lap maradt, hogy minden kérdésemre megkaphassam választ, szóval most nagyon izgulok, hogyan fog befejeződni a trilógia!
