OMG, micsoda rész volt ez! Címhez hűen, felébredés volt ez sok tekintetben. Türelmetlenül vártam már a Caged folytatását, és nem kellett csalódnom! Egy perc nyugtom sem volt, folyton történt valami! Idrill hatalmas karakterfejlődésen ment át, nagyon büszke voltam rá. A rengeteg trauma ellenére is remekül megállta a helyét, és végre fel mert szólalni. 

Egyértelműen team Soren, de rögtön mögötte van Caelan is. Nagyon örültem Branwen érkezésének, ő az igaz barát megtestesítője. Imádtam, ahogy folyton beszólogatott a Bastardoknak, és nem félt a következményektől. Zseniális egy karakter! 

Ahogy az várható volt, rengeteg 'mit tettem?' jelenet volt mind Dax, mind Vae szemszögéből, és utóbbi olyan aranyos volt, hogy felvásárolta neki a fél butkiot, hogy legyen elég ruhája. No meg a takarók, aw! ❤ Persze, ez még koránt sem nullázza le a tetteit. De Idrillen múlik, mikor bocsát meg nekik. Ha megbocsát egyáltalán. És muszáj említést tennem Shade-ről, a feketepárducról, aki határozottan nem egy sima, mezei párduc. Ugyanis az első könyvhöz képest hatalmasra nőtt! És ha mindez nem lenne elég, még szuperintelligens is! És persze Vharaxot se felejtsük el! OMG! Ő és az Idrill közötti kötelék elvarázsolt teljesen, nagyon király lépés volt, izgatottan várom, mi lesz ebből a szövetségből!

Egy szó, mint száz, nagyon várom a folytatást!

OMG, what an installment this was! True to the title, it was an awakening in many respects. I had been waiting impatiently for the follow-up to Caged, and I certainly wasn't disappointed! There wasn't a single quiet moment—something was always happening! Idrill underwent tremendous character development; I was so proud of her. Despite all the trauma, she held herself brilliantly and finally found the courage to speak up.

I’m definitely Team Soren, though Caelan is right there behind him. I was so happy to see Branwen arrive—she is the embodiment of a true friend. I loved how she kept taking jabs at the Bastards, never once fearing the consequences. What a brilliant character!

As expected, there were plenty of "what have I done?" moments from both Dax’s and Vae’s perspectives. Vae was so sweet—he practically bought out half the boutique just to make sure she had enough clothes! And the blankets—aw! ❤ Of course, that doesn't exactly wipe the slate clean for their past actions. It’s up to Idrill to decide when—or even if—she’ll forgive them. And I have to mention Shade, the black panther—who is definitely no ordinary, run-of-the-mill panther. He’s grown massive compared to the first book! And as if that weren't enough, he’s superintelligent, too! And, of course, we can’t forget Vharax! OMG! The bond between her and Idrill completely captivated me—it was such a cool development, and I can’t wait to see what comes of this alliance! In short, I’m really looking forward to the sequel!
