Electric Monkey Unplugged: Bookish Event
No kérem szépen, eljött az Electric Monkey Unplugged könyves eventje is, és azt kell mondjam, nagyon jól éreztem magam! A belépőjegy £10 volt, ami maximálisan megérte az árát. (Kaptunk egy tote baget, benne ajándékokkal, és egy random ARC példánnyal. Várt ránk a mocktail, és kreatív sarok is volt).
Ez volt az Electric Monkey első ilyen eseménye, de bízom benne, hogy lesz majd máskor is. ❤❤❤
Hagytam elég időt az utazásra, mivel még nem jártam ezen a környéken. Viszonylag hamar és egyszerűen találtam oda a The Ministry, Borough Workspace & Members' Clubjába.
Annyira időben értem oda, hogy én voltam az első! Lassan, de biztosan gyűlt össze a csapat, a végére egész nagy sor várakozott odakint. Betérve kaptunk egy tokent, ami az ajándék táska beváltására szolgált, és egy mocktail is várt. Időben mentek le a programok, minden flottul ment. Ezúttal nem voltam egyedül, mert az egyik könyvmoly ismerősöm is eljött :) No meg könyves találkákon azért akad leaglább 1-2 olyan ember, akivel szívesen elbeszélgetek.😎/
Well, Electric Monkey Unplugged's book event has arrived, and I have to say, I had a great time! The entrance ticket was £10, which was totally worth the price. (We got a tote bag with gifts and a random ARC copy. A mocktail was waiting for us, and there was also a creative corner).
This was the first such event for Electric Monkey, but I hope there will be another one. ❤❤❤
I left enough time for the journey, as I had never been to this area before. I found The Ministry, Borough Workspace & Members' Club relatively quickly and easily.
I got there so early that I was the first! Slowly but surely, the group gathered; by the end, there was a whole long line waiting outside. Upon entering, we were given a token to redeem for the gift bag, and a mocktail was waiting. The programs ended on time, and everything went smoothly. This time I wasn't alone, because one of my bookworm friends came too :) And at book meetups, usually there are at least 1-2 people I'd be happy to chat with.😎

Az épület bejárata, és pár fotó érkezéskor. A mocktail nagyon finom volt! /The entrance to the building, and a few photos upon arrival. The mocktail was very delicious!
Nagyon megörültem a tote bag dekorálás lehetőségének! *-* Rengeteg stencil és színes filctoll várta, hogy alkossunk velük! :D Aki akart, még lemosható tetoválást is applikálhatott magára. Volt postaláda is, szerelmes levelet írhattak az Electric Monkey számára. :D /
I was very happy about the opportunity to decorate a tote bag! *-* There were lots of stencils and colored felt-tip pens waiting for us to create with! :D If you wanted, you could even apply a washable tattoo to yourself. There was also a mailbox where you could write a love letter to Electric Monkey. :D
Az event házigazdája Zubs Malik volt, és imádtam a stílusát! Volt kérdezz-felelek az Electric Monkey csapatától, majd megérkeztek a szerzők is. :)/
The event was hosted by Zubs Malik, and I loved her style! There was a Q&A with the Electric Monkey team, and then the authors arrived. :)
Zubs Malik korábban beszélt online Tesia Tsai-val, ezt a kis videót tekintettük meg, valamint személyesen beszélgetett Caitlin Breeze (The Fox Hunt), Kate Weston (Coterie of Liars) és Dhonielle Clayton (co-author of Breakout) írókkal.
A panelbeszélgetést követően sorbaálltunk dedikáltatni a könyveket. A mai nap csupa jó időzítésből állt, mert itt is hamar sorrakerültem! Sőt, még a legutóbbi könyves eventen szerzett post it is megvolt a táskámban, szóval még a nevem lediktálásával sem kellett bajlódni. :D
Mivel a szerzők közül csak Caitlin Breeze-t "ismertem" így hozzá álltam be a sorba. Nagyon kedves volt, és külön a könyvéhez íllő színű tollakat hozott a dedikálásra! *-*/

After the panel discussion, we lined up to get the books signed. Today was all about good timing, because I got in line quickly here too! In fact, I even had the post-it I got from the last book event in my bag, so I didn't even have to bother with dictating my name. :D
Since I only "knew" Caitlin Breeze among the authors, I joined her in line. She was very kind and brought pens that matched the color of her book for the signing! *-*

Ezt a könyvet már kinéztem magamnak korábban, így boldog voltam, amikor megláttam a címet! Volt még ezen kívűl pár másik ARC példány is, mindenki random kapott egyet. /
I had already picked out this book for myself before, so I was happy when I saw the title! There were also a few other ARC copies, everyone got one at random.

Négy után elindultunk hazafelé. Plusz pont, hogy nem volt túl hosszú a program, de mégis sok minden volt benne. Viszont így nem merült le a social battery-m. /

We left for home after four. The plus point was that the program wasn't too long, but there was still a lot to do. But that way my social battery didn't run out.
