A NetGalley-n találtam rá, és nagyon megörültem, amikor jött az email, hogy jóváhagyták a jelentkezésemet, és már olvashattam ezt a csipkerózsika retellinget, amelyben volt pár érdekes csavar. Nagyon izgalmas volt, végig fenttartotta az érdeklődésemet, és minden szabad pillanatot megragadtam, hogy beleolvashassak egy keveset. Főleg Violanna, Meredyth és Sel nézőpotjából követhetjük az eseményeket. De később becsatlakoztak a lányok is.

Ajánlom a Spellbound elolvasását, ha szereted

– ha ikrekről szól a történet;

– hogy a mágia és az átok kulcsfontosságú elemei a történetnek

– hogy van egy kis Trónok harca feelingje

– a retellingeket.

Kicsit lehetett volna kidolgozottabb a történet, egy esetleges folytatást szívesen olvasnék még.

Tőlem ez a történet ★★★★✰ kap.

Thanks to NetGalley, I was able to read a copy of Spellbound by Georgia Leighton. This Sleeping Beauty retelling had a few interesting twists. It was very exciting and kept my interest throughout, and I took every free moment to read a little bit of it. We can mainly follow the events from the perspectives of Violanna, Meredyth, and Sel. But later, the girls joined in, too.

I recommend reading Spellbound if you like

– if the story is about twins;

– that magic and curses are key elements of the story

– that it has a bit of a Game of Thrones feeling

– The retellings in general.

The story could have been more developed. I would love to read a possible sequel.
